Why I’m voting for
Kamala Harris and Tim Walz:
“I was a young girl the first time I heard a woman speak about women's issues. That woman was Bella Abzug, and her ideas left a mark on me. Her advocacy inspired me to get involved, to help others, and make the world safer and more inclusive. Now I am 62. Reproductive rights are being challenged. Books are being banned. The separation of church and state is being challenged. And the middle class still needs help. Marginalized groups of people need a voice. The only way for us to get progress started is to vote blue. Kamala Harris is the candidate we are choosing to make this progress happen--to bring these initiatives to the floor. I think she's ready. I think she can do it. I know it's way past time. For all the women who came before her, we need to come together, support and encourage others, a woman's place IS in the White House. I can't wait to vote for the first woman President.”
