Why I’m voting for
Kamala Harris and Tim Walz:

“I understand the assignment because I can't watch my daughter, nieces, colleagues, friends, and complete strangers have their reproductive rights stripped away. As a teacher, I refuse to watch my students fall farther behind if the Department of Education is dismantled. As a queer author, I WILL NOT stand by as the LGBTQ+, POC, and other marginalized communities are denied their fundamental HUMAN rights. As an educated person, I can't understand how idiotic a person has to be to think global warming can be denied by wiping out NOAA or children can be protected from abuse by banning books and drag. In the end, I won't watch a bunch of weirdos who are more interested in other people's genitals than protecting classrooms full of 8-year-olds from a mass shooting destroy our democracy.”
