Welcome to Writers' Haven by Christine Wolf (VIDEO)
A video greeting (hello there!) and answers to questions about life as a memoir coach.
Greetings, Writers’ Haven Subscribers!
I’m trying something new (for me): a VIDEO greeting with answers to some frequently asked questions. In the video below, I answer two of the questions I hear a lot these days: What’s a typical day like for a book coach, and how did I even get into book coaching?
I’ve never posted like this before…so please go easy on me and my wonky, unrehearsed brain.
I shot this video on the fly after a long (yet rewarding!) workday and didn’t edit out the forgetfulness I attribute to a combo platter of Long Covid (yep) and menopause (dang). So… HAVE FUN watching me occasionally BLANK OUT over something I’m in the midst of saying, all while stumbling through a few-too-many “ums” and “uhs”). Just keeping it real, here. LOL!
It’s such a delight to welcome so many of you as NEW subscribers. THANK YOU all for being here! There’s a lot to look forward to in this growing community of writers and readers, including in-depth interviews with new and established authors, more virtual, silent write-ins, craft talks, sneak peeks of my memoir-in-progress, and so much more.
Do you have a burning question related to writing or the writing life? Drop it in the comments here. I’d love to help direct you toward some solid answers.
Thanks again for being a part of this community. It’s an honor to welcome you to the wonderful Writers’ Haven.
Sincerely,
Christine Wolf

VIDEO: In this welcome video, I also share details about a favorite tool I use when editing manuscripts (the Remarkable2) and answer the following questions: “What’s a typical day like for a book coach?” and “How did you become a writing coach?”

The fact that you didn't comb your hair before recording this video is exactly what makes it so appealing. Thank you for being down-to-earth and accessible.
I don’t recall signing up for this Substack. That said, I didn’t see any other posts to find out more about you. You have a welcoming voice. I appreciate that.
That’s what I wanted to tell you. I will follow what you publish here and find out more about your work over time.
Cheers,
