Wonderful story. Having just read about your sister and her accident on the ski slope, and then the story of you doing the grief climb while at a wedding; I couldn’t help to think of your sister, and her presence at the retreat, and fostering from spirit world a bond, sisterhood as you said with Maureen and then the others. A challenging experience gave way to a beautiful healing one in the end.

Thank you so much for reading, Susan, and for summing up so much of the journey! Sisterhood is such a powerful, life-affirming force, don't you think?

I absolutely agree:sisterhood and of bringing awareness to women's issues. I tell my story of this in my own life experiences in my writing.

Did you find a space to hold a Boston writing retreat? I live just a 30 min drive south of there. I would love to attend. Jan of Finding Home on Substack pointed me in your direction when we spoke in November for the first time. I am working on my memoir -she suggested that you could help me. I hope you might find some time to check me out. I am totally absorbed in reading your posts. You are an amazing woman- who is able to put your dreams into writing and your workshops into reality. I applaud you! I am a turtle in the marketing department. Be well.

Oh my goodness, thank you (and of course I’ll take a look at your memoir. It’s my favorite thing to do!). I’m still working on details for Boston, but in the meantime, I’ll be hosting some online workshops, so stay tuned for details. Would be awesome to have you join us.
