Glad you’re back. Fascinating and not a coincidence that you had a feeling about the retreat. You were meant to be Maureen’s guide, helper and sister. She was blessed to have you. What a relief she’s ok and healing. It must be wrist month. My 62 yo sister broke her wrist last week. I’ll be 60 this year-- need to make more time for strengthening exercises. Our lovely bones (not the book but literally) need tending.

We were in Boston in April too!

Congrats on everything.

Thanks for the kind words! In many ways, Maureen was an absolute blessing to ME.

Oooof! Sorry to hear about your sister! And isn't Boston lovely in April? :)

I feel like my Substack writing suffered there for a bit. Trying to figure out how never to let that happen again!

Hi!! I read this the other day and didn't have time to respond. It sounds like you have been doing a lot. Good for you getting after it. I am in a bit of a less is more mode over here. This is mandated by my day job mainly, but also a need for balance and moderation. This is not a race. It's my life. LOL.

The story about Maureen made me think about how it's great to try new things, but how important it is to stay grounded, listen to our intuition and know our own limitations. One caveat: I do not say this to blame Maureen at all. We are all vulnerable in this world. The story reminds me of that as well.

It's hard to keep all the balls in the air all the time and we just have to keep practicing. Once we get it down, something will change and we will begin again... xo
